I always heard a FEMALE voice on this one but didn’t find a singer who felt like doing it. So i did it myself. Still in a rather sketchy way and not totally happy with the tune i found. If anybody feels like re-singing this i’d be happy to know about.

Lyrics:
Today the newspapers
are all of blank sheets
They fill as i read them
Ideas become deeds
What is this breeze?
What is this chill?
I feel so uneasy
and at somebody’s will
The door is open
and so are the windows
The roof is missing
and the floor where the wind goes
The walls - they are crumbling
My vision - it clears
Furniture’s obsolete
or symbol for fears
My bed’s a bear trap
and my chair’s electric
but now all is clean
that once was septic
My shadow is hiking
Solar winds come to halt
They’re giving my old friend
a lift from this vault
The door is open
and so are the windows
The roof is missing
and the floor where the wind goes
The water is rising
Sky falls on the night
Stars circle the moon
in all broad daylight
Horizons have folded
The spiral’s a straight line
I’m loosing all knowledge
that ever was mine
A feeling’s remaining
like floating on air
I levitate fearlessly
with joy hard to bear
The door is open
and so are the windows
The roof is missing
and the floor where the wind goes
My pen is a sword now
and flames are my ink
Fill my mind with its scrawling
ignoring the brink
A white cloud is settling
where my brain used to be
From my heart rain falls upwards
Each drop in essence is me
Hallelujah -- i’m singing
with lips sealed by bliss
now rendered able
to acknowledge the kiss
The door is open
and so are the windows
The roof is missing
and the floor where the wind goes
