His single of the song which reached No. 33 on the US Billboard Hot 100 was not released in the UK. Manfred Mann released their version of the song which reached the number 10 spot in the UK singles charts in July 1966. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Dylan’s version of the song at No. 230 in their list of the 500 Greatest Songs Of All Time.
