A memory captured in song a images. Thanks for sharing it with us. Gives out a nice feeling and brings up some memories of my own. Might have a browse through some old photos later as I have not done that for quite a while. (Hmmm, sounds like a good excuse for a bottle of wine and the phone off the hook actually) :)

You know, sometimes, sad is not too bad, but as long as it’s mixed with the good/happy. Just nice going through a range of emotions sometimes, although it not good if one gets stuck in the sad. It was nice digging up some memories of better times. Skipped the wine though lol.

Dear Jules, I so wish I could watch more videos here but I suffer from two things....limited time online and a very slow internet connection! It takes me a long long time to watch one video because it keeps buffering! It’s really frustrating but my provider says that’s all they can give me because of my distance.....

I remember "dial-up"
I am lucky to have a broad band connection which isn’t too bad. The signal fails from time to time especially in bad weather. I guess we don’t appreciate what we’ve got until we don’t have it ?! thanks for being here and being my friend .x.!

I actually have DSL but at 384kbps it is SLOW and videos stall and I have to wait a long time.....unfortunately my time for being online is limited to small chunks often leaving me no time at all to watch! I try my best though and make time when I can!

I am older now dear Uncle Michael...but the magic never dies. I have visited Polly and Digory....they made me tea but their hands were shaking. The sons and daughters of Mr and Mrs Beaver take care of the sons of Adam and will continue to do so.x.

Politics...power...stepping on top of other people’s heads to "advance"....all part of The Lie that continues to fester through all the years...yet, Change has come, despite our not "seeing" it. I am mindful of Jadis, especially how she manipulates our view (and that of course includes mine) between..."aren’t you great, but then, you are such a wretch..." as she smiles and thinks she Has power. I, deep in my heart, do not fear her, because TheLion’s Roar has already silenced her....:)

Wayneee.....there was no silver in the crooked house, infact there was a futon bed, 2 mugs, an eclectic selection of cultery, a two ring cooker, a shower that sometimes worked, a view of the Sacre Coeur and MUSIC.x.

A few dates, a few anniversaries......but it is the place, which is still there. I often walk past that house when I am there. It has changed. Been given a face lift, but the oak stairs are the same.x.

Those memories were mostly happy. Over the years I have managed to erase any trauma....You are SO right...bittersweet nostalgia...and why not eh ?
