This is some of the more "normal" paintings I made lol...the others are more surrealistic. I never had lessons or so...I just started, loved to draw as a kid. Unfortunately I allways seems to listen to the wrong kind of people and then I get depressed and stop...When they hear you can not make a lot of money out of it it suddenly sucks...weird...well, I don’t feel so happy today and I wanted to upload something. Maybe it is a nice change... The music is not mine...just a demo from a musicbook on modern saxophone music. Category : Medley Mission

hey, you are a very good painter too.
Interesstings portraits a lot of expressions! The first and last is a self-portrait i think. It has something sad and a mysteriously expression. You choose an adequate music and of course well played ;-).

Hi Cobi, Nice to See Mrs.Bucket getting a look-in . Love your paintings . I paint too - I think it’s sorta comes with the package.Musicians often paint and visa versa. Love your’s though !!

Sorry you’re not feeling so great. I have to say, you’re really a multi talented artist. Your paintings are really excellent. Now I dabble at drawing, but we’re talking cartoon characters. I would never have the patience to paint a portrait.... or the nerve. I’ve gotten lucky on a couple of pencil sketches, but usually my aspect ratio is off when it comes to making things look real. You have a good eye.... not to mention a good ear.

This is an excellent platform for your wonderful work! It takes the uncreative to minimize the intrinsic value of Creative works such as yours, talent, creativity is valid-it is after this image we ourselves are="created",What a dull dreary existence grumpy too-without Art and Music. Forget the naysayers- Soar with the Eagles, don’t let the turkeys ground you :D I shared fav’d and fb liked and everything-your work deserves an audience full of collectors!

Thanks Pat for your nice comment! I think that a lot of the negative people are a bit jealous but I often see that too late...I am not so good with people...most of them make me feel uncomfortable. As a kid I went through something very nasty which shouldn’t happen to a kid OR grownup. It made me shy away from people and although I am doing a lot better now I am often on my own...never go out. At home or at work...or inbetween. All my hobbies help to make me feel good and this platform is indeed superb! I am very grateful to be here and to share some of my stuff with you. I hope you’ll have a wonderful Sunday! ~Cobi

The pleasure is mine. I hear ya. I’m a mostly willing recluse myself, I miss the camaraderie of music; open mic nights, driving to and playing in songwriters cafe(s)at non-denominational church basements,donations welcome for the coffee lol bands gigs rehearsals; everything creative. Music-my way of being in this world; aging out of the target market=an empty file folder in my Soul as to how to be out there..standing around paper cup in hand for hours on end no longer appeals haha..you have a good sunday night too~Cobi!

Hahaha, thanks man! Yes, inspector Frost is great. The feathers are from a period I was very much interested in native Americans...I also have a few tattoos on my arms; one portret of Chief josef (with feather) and another one with a wolf howling to the moon :)

Thanks man! Yes, the British TV personalties are over here too! The people I painted I have all their DVD’s.... all the episodes from "Keeping up Appearances" and the complete series "Only Fools and Horses" and of course all the Inspector Frost DVD’s!

He was a big fan of the late great Ronnie Barker and appeared in some episodes of the comedy Porridge (worth digging out) Set in a prison.. DJ played an old guy.. and did another series with him set in a shop (I can’t remember the name) But porridge was my fav. Not sure if you know it.

The best of our stuff is from Spike Mulligan, The Two Ronnies, and the later stuff Alan Partridge and Brass Eye (They make fun of the media’s self importance and my personal Favs ) You have to look it up on YT, but it is worth a look. Everyone knows Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, but that later stuff is just as good. I think Spike Mulligan is our Sid Ceasar.

But the music thing can be learned....I was born and will always be tone deaf.....yet I love music which I learned by mathematics. At the age of 62 I opened my mouth in public for the first time and at 65 laid down my first multi track effort and now at 69 its my only hobby. But painting????? I scratch out a few abstracts and take unusual photographs to use in my videos but a realistic or even recognisable reflection of life....NEVER.....I envy you your talent....but its not to be for me.

Yeah, Freeman went and came back...unfortunately I wanted to start on his portret today using a couple of his vids I had selected but now they are gone so I have to waite till he has enough material up to choose from... but I am glad he is back! And I am glad that you watch all my videos so faithfully...much appreciated my friend...I guess I’ll have another beer and play some on my new guitar. Have a good weekend! ~ Cobi

I watched your freeman video as soon as you had uploaded it...I just couldn’t say anything at that moment...I felt so sad and some people send me a message asking if I knew what had happened to him! It started to feel as if I had ran him off... but you see I am looking for specific things I need to know for the painting...your video is great but most of the pics are not good enough for blowing it up a little. I also need to mirror most pictures back to normal... but I am getting there Paul...we will see if our friend sticks to the canvas LOL!
