Thank you very much... this was a very last minute improvised sort of thing that started out really bad with problems with the PA (the vocal level never really got fixed) but ended up alright! One of my favorite songs ever... Mr Dylan is just amazing!!

Thanks Tony! One of Bob Dylan’s best I think... which is saying a lot because he has so many great songs. I did an instrumental version of this for my own amusement which was just basically the chords to the song with guitar solos over the whole thing. I came to the open mic this night not sure what to do and my friend Bob wanted to do something together so I tried to combine the instrumental thing I had done with the song... Bob never even played this before, we just winged it!

Thanks so much... just an amazing song!! This one started out a bit rough because of problems with the mic levels and the sound system... which is why the fist verse got cut off but we kept going and had some fun with it! Thanks for listening!

Great share. I keep saying it but I love live performance. I enjoyed the open mike sessions when my son was organising them though I would not go now as I do not feel my music would interest the other attendees.

Geoffree.. one of the things I love about the coffee shop I play at is the audience seems to be open to all types of music.... There was a couple who played old 1920’s and 30’s stuff like Java Jive, a guy who played old blues like Robert Jonson, someone played Memories from the Cats musical on piano, I myself have done ukulele ramblings, Beatles or Rolling Stones tunes, original stuff, Neil Young, Mississippi John Hurt, Nirvana and God knows what else!!! Sometimes I get up there and don’t even know what I am going to play but most of the people who hang out here will listen to all sorts of music and appreciate it which is just so cool!!

I wish there was somewhere like that locally. Most of the open mic places are just for young people and I only work professionally with my son and her’s too busy these days to take on that kind of work. we are hoping to put together some backing tapes to go with an ooutdoor event we are doing this summer. Its mainly country with a bit of 50s for the queen’s diamond jubilee.

Thank you very much for watching, this was lots of fun!! Usually I just do the solo acoustic thing but having another guitar player let me do some solo stuff which I never did live.
