in my head - this captures those late night insomnia moments - when you know you should be in bed - but you keep staring at something on the box that you know is shite but you keep watching away - water is a great metaphor - i could stare at waterfalls (and fires) for hours...
this obviously all means that i enjoyed your stuff mate!

That sounds like fun. Although, when I’ve seen others’ CDs mentioned here I assumed they were like studio recordings and not the lo-fi stuff I’ve got. I could certainly shove a selection onto a CD, but what you hear here is basically what there is.

no worries mate - lo fi’s my middle name and the MT mag is there to promote members of the site - my album was just lo-fi at home too - but then taken to a small(ie cheap) studio for drums and mix etc. if you wanna put an album of stuff together i’d be happy to do a write up - might be an idea to think about a bit of mastering and then to put in on bandcamp too as an album - more official that way but whatever you wanna do - no pressure - think about it and i can pm you my address etc - cheers - Liam

Thanks for that Liam - you’ve given me some stuff to think about. It probably is time to start thinking in terms of an ’album’ as opposed to a collection of songs. As for mastering etc, there are tracks I’ve lost and the stuff was recorded on Audacity with no click track so the timing is, in places.....er...’organic’ ! Anyway, Ill see what I can do and get back to you when I’m sorted. In the meantime, thanks a lot for your encouragement - it’s very much appreciated.

No worries Jim - even just the word album gets your head working differently - i love the idea of them - deciding what fits/suits, what order, how many songs etc, comparing with albums you love etc, is like you engage a whole other artistic side of your brain...Good luck mate and glad to provoke...L

dreamy and relaxing. I have been staring at water that seems too deep, strikes a cord here. Love the effect with the tv with channels changing. Those time when you just keep flipping, but you aint really watching anything. Thanks for that :)
