A new, ongoing, rolling MT CHALLENGE

This is NOT a competition !!
There are no prizes..
There is no time limit..
It is a Musicians Together Challenge..
And the challenge is to record and post a video of the song that was NUMBER ONE exactly 50 years ago!!

The beauty of this challenge for you challenge freaks is that there is the opportunity to record a different song every week..

UK charts, US charts, Irish charts, Azerbaijan charts etc..
If it was number one 50 tears ago then it is fair game for this challenge..

I have posted below the pop charts from UK and US for 1962, you will have to google for other countries as space here is at a premium and I can’t be arsed to do them all.
This will give you time to prepare and record your chosen track well in advance!
You will get extra brownie point if you post on the correct date from 50 years ago..

To get us up and going I will allow special dispensation to record any 1962 song that was number one earlier than June as we are well into the year and there are some belters there!

Check ahead on the charts, plan a good colab, choose the one that suits you..
There are some great song here that need a fresh spark of life, songs long forgotten!
