I grew up in the 1960’s in Lancashire, England.........It was the perfect age to grow up listening to, and learning from the all time great solo guitarists of the day. ........Clapton, Hendrix, Beck, Santana, Page, Kossoff etc.......

I got my 1st guitar when I was 14, played in my first band at 18 and played in local rock bands until 1972 when I stumbled across the genius of John McLaughlin’s Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return To Forever and Weather Report.....It was a revelation !

In 1973 I got together with 2 local musicians to form ’Chains To The Moon’.......Steve Baron on bass and Ian Fielding on drums and formed the heavy jazz/rock band ’Chains To The Moon’. who played their own compositions, and were very heavily influenced by the ’new’ wave of jazz/rock music......A forth band member joined a little later (Roger Marsden) on keyboards to complete the line up.

We are in the process of writing and recording a new Chains To The Moon album which will be available in 2012.

I played in several bands (mainly jazz/rock and rock)......Chains To The Moon..........Tomorrow Never Knows.......Spectrum......Sniper, but have not played at all since 1984.

I recently got my trusty old Gibson out of its box after a 25 year break from playing and teamed back up with Steve and Ian to create music which is full of emotion and passion ...........Nuclear Cross is the result.

I can not thank Steve enough for the contribution and great help he has been to me in making this album, not just from his contribution as a fine musician and producer, but his encouragement and support that I needed to pick my guitar up and start playing seriously again.

I would also like to thank Ian ..........A brilliant drummer, who literally could hold his own against any of the top drummers in the World.

Finally not forgetting Derek on sax..........His superb ethereal solos added another dimension to the tracks he played on.......His contribution was very much appreciated.
