When using Musicians Together, please bear in mind that the site is maintained and funded entirely by the community of musicians. The advantage to this is that we are not saturated with advertising and have the freedom to only feature music made by our members. The downside is that we have no full-time or paid staff and very little money for development. Therefore, while we do our best to keep everything working, please be patient with the parts of the site that aren't technically perfect - or when things go wrong!

If you can't find what you need in this section, try asking on 'the wall' on the homepage. Thanks :)

Known Bugs and Issues

This is the stuff we know doesn't work well and want to fix when we have the time/money/expertise:

Adding an avatar (profile picture) or changing your current one

1. On MT's main menu bar go to 'account' --> 'personalise channel' --> 'change avatar'.
2. Click the grey 'browse' button next to where it says 'user avatar, please select image file'.
3. The box that opens up lets you navigate around your computer. Find the image file you want to use and highlight it by clicking it once, then click 'open' (in that same box).
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue 'update' button.

It may take a while for the new avatar to appear everwhere around the site as the one you are replacing could be in your computer's cache. Just give it a little time and it will work fine.
