Thanks for joining MT - it's great to meet you. I've been pokjing around your website a little and think you've got some great tunes and something really interesting going on. Look forward to seeing some on your channel here.
Our thing here is just getting going, but hopefully as we grow, we'll be able to do more and more to help bring attention to folks like you - that's really the essence of why we are here.
Seems like your act would be really entertaining live btw. Any particular reasons you don't do it?
Well, as you have heard, the music is quite layered and there are only two of us. We either need to be experts with a loop pedal or play along with backing tracks (laptop probably). For now, the nature of it is that it's a studio project. We have no drummer (though there are percussion bits in our work) and all the synth work is software-based. Also, I (Evan) am a stay-at-home dad and my two toddlers take up quite a bit of my time. Whenever I get some time, I work on music. That could be one hour a month or a few hours a day, who knows?

Hello everyone, we are earsauce, a studio duo from the Northern Virginia area of the United States. We figured that making decent music with a fairly professional sound was going to be good enough for us to get some "exposure." We were wrong. Then we gave away our album for free, thinking that would help. We were wrong. We are not trying to "make it," but we feel the same way that most bands feel: we are not getting enough exposure.

Evan Valentine has been a staple in the electronic music netlabel scene for a decade now, and Steve Bower has played in many successful regional bands in the Washington DC area. This band is a side project for both us.. it's sort of a relaxed feel. Lots of acoustic instruments with some electronic production. Feedback would be greatly appreciated. But most of all, pick yourself up a copy of the album. It's free. You don't even have to enter any personal information (such as email) in order to download the album.
We work slowly and do not perform live, and we believe this has been major detriment to getting the word out. We're very glad to see that there is a community like this and that is growing so well.
